Key Facts about Faith Works Bible College
Who runs the College?
Although the College is administrated by Family Church, we do not expect students from other congregations to join us. We encourage you to “grow where you are planted!”
How is the Course run?
The course follows the school year, from the end of September until the end of June. The classes are held every Monday evening from 7:30 pm – 9:45 pm except bank holidays, Christmas and Easter. Classes consist of two hours of teaching, divided by a short break. Interaction, questions and discussion are encouraged!
Who can enrol?
Believers from all denominations are welcome regardless of intellectual abilities or experience. Lectures are designed to meet the spiritual requirements of all believers as brothers and sisters in Christ. We would expect all students to be in agreement with the College’s beliefs.
Course notes
A full set of course notes and a recommended reading list are provided with each topic. We will also provide a few books relevant to the course, free of charge, throughout the year. Other books will be promoted by Lecturers as recommended reading for those who want to study more.
Certificates
Certificates are issued at the end of each academic year, on completion of the course, once all assignments are complete and course fees paid. On completion of the 1st year a Certificate in Biblical Studies is awarded. On completion of Year 2, students are awarded an Advanced Certificate in Biblical Studies. Both awards are from Faith Works Bible College, part of Hillsong International Leadership College, Sydney, Australia. It is only possible to enrol for Year 2 having successfully completed Year 1 of the course.
Graduation honours
On completion of each year, a Graduation event is held to honour graduates. Following a celebration meal for students, family and friends, an evening Graduation Service is held for the church as a whole to celebrate the student’s achievements and award certificates.
